specialty metal fasteners serving the automotive industry. ASC is a leading
independent manufacturer of washers serving the North American market. The
company offers a full line of automotive washer products and specializes in
the manufacture of keps washers, the most technically challenging washers to
manufacture.
ASC also offers a wide range of brackets, nut and bolt assemblies and
stampings. ASC's manufacturing operations have been equipped with 26
state-of-the-art stamping presses (primarily manufactured by Minster). These
presses, which are equipped with productivity improving secondary equipment
(e.g. computer driven material feeding systems), are rigorously maintained.
Further, the company employs six inspection machines, including two custom
state-of-the-art vision sorting systems, which allow ASC to offer its
customers 100% product inspection of washers.
